Colo Colo FC's Wilfredo Cristos got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Colo Colo FC booed when Colmuyan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Acharan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Colmuyan's Ervigio Esquerra got control of the ball when Wilfredo Cristos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josías Mascayano during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Colmuyan got a freekick which was hit by Josías Mascayano. Wilfredo Cristos in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ervigio Esquerra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ervigio Esquerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Cristos's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Atenas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ervigio Esquerra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Cristos made the kick off in the second half. Bradly AyotHayot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Gabler in the 54th minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Vallejo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ervigio Esquerra. Ervigio Esquerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 59th minute, Wilfredo Cristos made a precise shot to the right of Ervigio Esquerra. Colmuyan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colmuyan's goalkeeper Ervigio Esquerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ervigio Esquerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Depsch went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 75 minutes, Hugo Gabler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colmuyan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Gabler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Acharan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Bradly AyotHayot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Colo Colo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josías Mascayano came free, but Bradly AyotHayot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Cristos in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ervigio Esquerra saved Colmuyan from getting behind. Wilfredo Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Colmuyan got a freekick which was hit by Xavi Arratia. In the 90th minute, Marcelo Acharan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
