Narcomillo Rodríguez hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Adriano Lavín's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soriano Fath was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Reinaldo Garay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adriano Lavín took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Soriano Fath. Soriano Fath dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Elear Barticciotto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match Valerio Azoca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eufrasio Canales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Mario Jesus Traverso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caracote AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Jesus Traverso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Aparicio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tamberia FC's Eufrasio Canales got control of the ball when Mario Jesus Traverso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Mario Jesus Traverso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Faustino Blondel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 43 minutes, Reinaldo Garay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamberia FC and the Caracote AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caracote AFC's Soriano Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Garay in the 50th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Jesus Traverso was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Nauzet Portillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caracote AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tamberia FC the free kick. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caracote AFC! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Tamberia FC. Victorino Barreau stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Soriano Fath. 0-2. When Reinaldo Garay came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Tamberia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Garay couldn't finish the play. Reinaldo Garay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Soriano Fath having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Caracote AFC's zone, Adriano Lavín stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soriano Fath came out of the goal and Adriano Lavín tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Lavín received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Soriano Fath came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Lavín slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 76th minute. After 84 minutes, Ferrán Solorzano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamberia FC and the Caracote AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Ferrán Solorzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Adriano Lavín got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reinaldo Garay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Soriano Fath made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Tamberia FC's Narcomillo Rodríguez got a free kick in the 95th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 101 minutes, Soriano Fath successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Tamberia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tamberia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
