Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carahue's Tinguaro Barrenechea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Caracote AFC's Soriano Fath got control of the ball when Alexandre Hoefler tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Jesus Traverso in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Clavijo saved Carahue from getting behind. Marco Clavijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elear Barticciotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mario Jesus Traverso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elear Barticciotto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Clavijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elear Barticciotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavier Quero got free with Soriano Fath in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Jesus Traverso in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Clavijo saved Carahue from getting behind. Soriano Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tinguaro Barrenechea in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Carahue getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Xavier Quero hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Tanio Searle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carahue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caracote AFC the free kick. Tanio Searle hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Elear Barticciotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Clavijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Gustavo Isasiguia took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Clavijo. Marco Clavijo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marco Clavijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elear Barticciotto in the 47th minute of play. Marco Clavijo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elear Barticciotto in the 52nd minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Alexandre Hoefler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Hoefler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tinguaro Barrenechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tinguaro Barrenechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carahue's Marco Clavijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elear Barticciotto in the 66th minute of play. When Carahue's Alexandre Hoefler in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caracote AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Gustavo Isasiguia's late challenge caught a Carahue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Gustavo Isasiguia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Caracote AFC's Carlos Gustavo Isasiguia got a free kick in the 75th minute. Marco Clavijo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexandro Erwenne. Faustino Blondel's late challenge caught a Carahue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Blondel helped the player get up and apologised. Ronaldo Mazuelas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caracote AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
