Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Juan Alberto Sotomayor made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Pedro Tomás Villegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patriotas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Tomás Villegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruesga Lisperguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruesga Lisperguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Daniel Soza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Alberto Sotomayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruesga Lisperguer came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Patriotas FC's Nicanor Delgadillo. But to his dismay, Nicanor Delgadillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Montt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Delgadillo came free, but Ruesga Lisperguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juan Alberto Sotomayor came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Patriotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Alberto Sotomayor couldn't finish the play. Juan Alberto Sotomayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruesga Lisperguer having to interfere. Manuel Vivar came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Moise Udubaşa could save by the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Montt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Delgadillo came free, but Ruesga Lisperguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Montt FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Anacleto Jarpa hit a great ball. After the first half Patriotas FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lander Waugh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Montt FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Anacleto Jarpa hit a great ball. Ruesga Lisperguer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Alberto Sotomayor in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute, Patriotas FC's Pedro Tomás Villegas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruesga Lisperguer. Ruesga Lisperguer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Moise Udubaşa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Jarpa in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Montt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Jarpa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Patriotas FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Herminio Lisboa hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Manuel Vivar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Udubaşa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lander Waugh in the 88th minute of the match. Moise Udubaşa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lander Waugh in the 90th minute of play. Ruesga Lisperguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Alberto Sotomayor's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Jarpa during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Montt FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Anacleto Jarpa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lander Waugh in the 97th minute of play forced Patriotas FC's goalkeeper Moise Udubaşa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patriotas FC played a much better game than Montt FC and deserved their victory. The Montt FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
