Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Patxi Adaos came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cullani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patxi Adaos couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Víctor Javier Escalona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruesga Lisperguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cullani's zone, Lander Waugh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Segura came out of the goal and Lander Waugh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montt FC were furious when Renato Guerrero was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Montt FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cullani:s goal. Ruesga Lisperguer had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Natalio Puerta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After a long run with the ball, Natalio Puerta did a trick in the 20th minute in front of Montt FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-0. An impressive performance by Cullani's Natalio Puerta! Manuel Vivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Segura having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víctor Javier Escalona to strike the kick off in the second half.
