Ofelio Cobaleda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alifonso Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alifonso Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ofelio Cobaleda having to interfere. Feliciano Marcou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sansón Dávila having to interfere. Alifonso Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Feliciano Marcou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sansón Dávila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sansón Dávila made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Viviano Machado sent off a good shot on target. Alifonso Rojas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ofelio Cobaleda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, C.A Dulceys's Viviano Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sansón Dávila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adriel Elzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ofelio Cobaleda having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The attack was good, but when Alifonso Rojas in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rafa Macchiavello's late challenge caught a Chicureo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafa Macchiavello helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chicureo FC booed when C.A Dulceys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Macchiavello didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Chicureo FC's Ofelio Cobaleda threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Higinio Lopetegui, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 63 minutes into the match, Chicureo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Marcou came free, but Sansón Dávila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio White's late challenge caught a Chicureo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio White helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Saverio White hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A Dulceys's Viviano Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Viviano Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sansón Dávila was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Alarico Larrea hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Alifonso Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Lopetegui shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Adriel Elzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicureo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriel Elzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ofelio Cobaleda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viviano Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Chicureo FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
