An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloi Hudson in the 21st minute of play forced EL RUBIO FC's goalkeeper Sisebuto Markmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Chorillos's Enrique Mariano Poveda got control of the ball when Quintín Peluchonneau tried to sneak it across the goal line. EL RUBIO FC's Sisebuto Markmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloi Hudson in the 24th minute of play. Mercurio Eyzaguirre charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mercurio Eyzaguirre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chorillos getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Zenaido Andrea hit a great ball. When EL RUBIO FC's César Payten in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chorillos's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to EL RUBIO FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alarico Srain hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintín Peluchonneau got free with Enrique Mariano Poveda in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quintín Peluchonneau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enrique Mariano Poveda firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 44th minute of the match, Quintín Peluchonneau got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Mariano Poveda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. César Payten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Payten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 minutes of play, Chorillos's Eloi Hudson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sisebuto Markmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! César Payten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Mariano Poveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Payten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Román fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sisebuto Markmann having to interfere. César Payten might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Mariano Poveda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. César Payten ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mercurio Eyzaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When EL RUBIO FC's César Payten in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 90th minute César Payten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Mariano Poveda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL RUBIO FC's Sisebuto Markmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save EL RUBIO FC from getting a goal against them. Enrique Mariano Poveda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintín Peluchonneau in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that EL RUBIO FC were the better team. EL RUBIO FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
