The supporters of Chalinguita booed when Cabrito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Echeandía didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duardo Huelqui was the one to do the kick off. Cabrito's Marcel Masuelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Bustillos in the 52nd minute of play. Franco Daniel kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Norberto Echeandía was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Chalinguita. Ermegildo Rosselot stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcel Masuelas. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Telmo Bustillos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Masuelas was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Telmo Bustillos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eber Barrera got free with Juan Alfonso Amuscotegui in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eber Barrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Juan Alfonso Amuscotegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Eber Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
