In the 9th match minute, Paredones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Soriano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mullure's Robustiano Andia tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gerónimo Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Mullure:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paredones:s goal. Gustavo Zuloaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Soriano charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Soriano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justino Soriano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Raúl Benavente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Roque Basaure was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mullure's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paredones the free kick. In the 31st minute, Roque Basaure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Benavente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Galeno having to interfere. Raúl Benavente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Zuloaga made a kick off. Raúl Benavente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mullure's Dalmacio Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerónimo Montero in the 54th minute of play. Gustavo Zuloaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Manolo Depsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerónimo Montero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Gerónimo Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Paredones getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Edelmiro Venezian hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnau Urenda during the 84th minute. Raúl Benaventes short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Dalmacio Galeno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustavo Zuloaga charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Zuloaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Paredones booed when Mullure was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Zuloaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerónimo Montero might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Galeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerónimo Montero ran back to his position shaking his head.
