The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th match minute, Belben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristián Menart to maneuver through the defense. Jordi Hesler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oriol Ramírez having to make a save. Jorge Alsina hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Silvino Triviño was a little too slow when Albert Pirola got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Timeteo Markovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oriol Ramírez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Hesler in the 31st minute of play. Timeteo Markovic took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oriol Ramírez. Oriol Ramírez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Cristián Menart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belben's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Provincial San Fernando the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordi Hesler in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oriol Ramírez saved Provincial San Fernando from getting behind. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Provincial San Fernando's goalkeeper Oriol Ramírez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordi Hesler in the 42nd minute of play forced Provincial San Fernando's goalkeeper Oriol Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordi Hesler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timeteo Markovic to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Provincial San Fernando getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Calvino Biggs hit a great ball. After 58 minutes, Rafa Cauffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Provincial San Fernando and the Belben players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafa Cauffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Oriol Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timeteo Markovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Abelado Fuenzalida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Provincial San Fernando's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belben the free kick. Jordi Hesler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriol Ramírez having to interfere. When Jordi Hesler came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Belben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordi Hesler couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Abelado Fuenzalida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Timeteo Markovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timeteo Markovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jordi Hesler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Provincial San Fernando's Oriol Ramírez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Provincial San Fernando from getting a goal against them. Belben's Silvino Triviño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Pirola in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Timeteo Markovic fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jordi Hesler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Oriol Ramírez made a huge save. Timeteo Markovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriol Ramírez having to interfere. When Timeteo Markovic came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Belben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timeteo Markovic couldn't finish the play. Provincial San Fernando succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Belben had controlled the match.
