Hualane's Cristofer Aguad got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldo Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Tanausu Moyano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Archibaldo Moreau hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Cristofer Aguad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanausu Moyano having to interfere. Tanausu Moyano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 44 minutes, Jacindo Bauzá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hualane and the Aucanquilcha AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Hualane got a freekick which was hit by Jacindo Bauzá. Martin Fanjul charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Fanjul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 45 minutes into the game, one of Hualane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xavi Fuenzalida had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Francisco Antonio Azpuru's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 63rd minute Aldo Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanausu Moyano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanausu Moyano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristofer Aguad in the 66th minute of the match. Carmelo Penschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavi Fuenzalida having to interfere.
