After a rather tough play, Pupetra's Madeo Araube got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 9 minutes, Severino Ugalde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aucanquilcha AFC and the Pupetra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Aucanquilcha AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Ugalde to maneuver through the defense. Pupetra's Anastasio Quiñones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Pupetra from getting a goal against them. Tanausu Moyano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madeo Araube in the 14th minute of play. A hard shot by Tobías Cuadros from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Anastasio Quiñones's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Archibaldo Moreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Quiñones having to interfere. Francisco Miguel Mancheño charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Miguel Mancheño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Francisco Miguel Mancheño hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pupetra's Gaspar Ibarbia got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gaspar Ibarbia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Madeo Araube made a kick off. Pupetra's Robert Acharan got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Archibaldo Moreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Acharan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanausu Moyano having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Pupetra's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Penschke came free, but Anastasio Quiñones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madeo Araube might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanausu Moyano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Madeo Araube ran back to his position shaking his head. Anastasio Quiñones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Penschke in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Aucanquilcha AFC's goalkeeper Tanausu Moyano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Acharan. If Madeo Araube had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
