In the 69thth minute of the game Eladio Poqué who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huecahuecan FC's Luis Eduardo Súnico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Huecahuecan FC's Luis Eduardo Súnico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eladio Poqué in the 74th minute of play. Benicio Mandujano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Eduardo Súnico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The Tilama players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
