Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pinone Faraggi made the kick off and thus started the match. Archibaldo Goyenechea made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when José Marcelo Simpson sent off a good shot on target. After recieving a nice pass, Cascavillani's Eduard Zunino tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pinone Faraggi in the 9th minute of play forced Ipres's goalkeeper Giancarlo Mantzke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Pinone Faraggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giancarlo Mantzke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pinone Faraggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giancarlo Mantzke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Monasterio in the 15th minute of play. José Marcelo Simpson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Leonardo Baracaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archibaldo Goyenechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Cascavillani's Clemente Monasterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giancarlo Mantzke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 34th minute, Eduard Zunino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giancarlo Mantzke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Monasterio's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ipres's zone, Pinone Faraggi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giancarlo Mantzke came out of the goal and Pinone Faraggi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Monasterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Marcelo Simpson might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Archibaldo Goyenechea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Marcelo Simpson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonardo Baracaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cascavillani fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Clemente Monasterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Giancarlo Mantzke made a huge save. Archibaldo Goyenechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Baracaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinone Faraggi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Giancarlo Mantzke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascavillani. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Monasterio got free with Giancarlo Mantzke in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Archibaldo Goyenechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Baracaldo in the 71st minute of the match. Ipres's Giancarlo Mantzke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ipres from getting a goal against them. Cascavillani's Clemente Monasterio managed to work through Ipres's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Clemente Monasterio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 82 minutes into the match, Ipres's goal looked a bit too open when Pinone Faraggi came free, but Giancarlo Mantzke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute José Marcelo Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archibaldo Goyenechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cascavillani defense, José Marcelo Simpson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Archibaldo Goyenechea. The Cascavillani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Archibaldo Goyenechea should have stopped the shot.
