The tension between the Vizcachitas and the Guatanave players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guatanave's goalkeeper Genaro Antúnez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hermenegildo Markovic fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vizcachitas's protests and gave Hermenegildo Markovic a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Iturralde in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Antúnez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the match, Guatanave's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Iturralde came free, but Genaro Antúnez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Iturralde in the 67th minute of play forced Guatanave's goalkeeper Genaro Antúnez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Candido Daroch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Antúnez was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 88 played minutes Vizcachitas got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Alvarado. Selmo Sáez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
