Manuel Antonio Villagrán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurín Mac Millan in the 5th minute of play. Nauzet Monardes's late challenge caught a Hospital's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Cristóbal Marholz to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Maurín Mac Millan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hospital's Manuel Antonio Villagrán. Manuel Antonio Villagrán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Edelmiro Pandolfi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Antonio Villagrán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Urceda in the 86th minute of the match. Abelardo Achondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pol Hanssen having to interfere. Quinamavida's Jacobo Morel got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hospital players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quinamavida.
