The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Maurín Mac Millan put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rogerio Barrios. If Feliciano Iturralde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Iturralde in the 22nd minute of play forced Quinamavida's goalkeeper Pol Hanssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurín Mac Millan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rogerio Barrios made a huge save. Maurín Mac Millan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Barrios having to interfere. Feliciano Iturralde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Daroch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Pol Hanssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute Candido Daroch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pol Hanssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Quinamavida booed when Vizcachitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martino Reina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Maurín Mac Millan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogerio Barrios was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Candido Daroch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pol Hanssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Daroch, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Iturralde got free with Pol Hanssen in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute of the match Francisco Martín Jaramillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogerio Barrios showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Quinamavida's Pol Hanssen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Quinamavida from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Fabio Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Jose Urceda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogerio Barrios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurín Mac Millan in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vizcachitas's zone, Jacobo Morel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogerio Barrios came out of the goal and Jacobo Morel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quinamavida had won after a very even match.
