Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Canelo's Mariano Paniagua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tauro Turres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leoncio Lastra having to interfere. Tauro Turres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ezequiel Mattei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Paniagua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Paniagua was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Canelo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ezequiel Mattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Adasme having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Pairoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Llolleo FC got a corner. Canelo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrico Del Campo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 55 minutes into the match, Mariano Paniagua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Adasme. Llolleo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Paniagua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 59thth minute of the game Ezequiel Mattei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llolleo FC's Jaime Adasme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Paniagua in the 60th minute of play forced Llolleo FC's goalkeeper Jaime Adasme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Canelo booed when Llolleo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Levenier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th play minute Tauro Turres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leoncio Lastra. 2-1. Leoncio Lastra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Pairoa in the 75th minute of the match. Pere Dol hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Canelo's goalkeeper Leoncio Lastra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tauro Turres. In the 81st minute Cecilio Pairoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leoncio Lastra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Mattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Adasme having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Edelmiro Vilches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Pairoa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jaime Adasme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Paniagua, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Canelo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Llolleo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
