Filiberto Marshall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Soriano in the 4th minute of the match. If Isaiás Trumbull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Alzaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelius Zegers went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 18 played minutes Codegua got a freekick which was hit by Filipo Alejo. A collision led to Codegua getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Filipo Alejo hit a great ball. Américo Rioseco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Inocencio Alzaga firmly grabbed it by the left post. Filiberto Marshall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Soriano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alonso Soriano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaiás Trumbull in the 32nd minute of play forced Codegua's goalkeeper Filiberto Marshall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Marshall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Soriano in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Codegua got a freekick which was hit by Américo Rioseco. Alonso Soriano took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Marshall. Filiberto Marshall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Inocencio Alzaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Ortuzar, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Codegua's Constantino Ortuzar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inocencio Alzaga. Inocencio Alzaga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Ortuzar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Alonso Soriano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filiberto Marshall was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Isaiás Trumbull capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaiás Trumbull really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. If Alonso Soriano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Alzaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelius Zegers in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Isaiás Trumbull who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Codegua's Filiberto Marshall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelius Zegers in the 77th minute of play forced The Hammers CL's goalkeeper Inocencio Alzaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Remicio Marinkovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Hammers CL's Inocencio Alzaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelius Zegers in the 79th minute of play. Germán Villagrán kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Codegua got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Ortuzar. Isaiás Trumbull received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Filiberto Marshall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Codegua's Filipo Alejo got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Ortuzar in the 95th minute of play forced The Hammers CL's goalkeeper Inocencio Alzaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, The Hammers CL failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
