Bayron Espejo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Luis Javier Diaz de León made a huge save. Bayron Espejo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Luis Javier Diaz de León when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The wind increased when Enmanuel Valdivia made the kick off in the second half. Enmanuel Valdivia might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Javier Diaz de León. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enmanuel Valdivia ran back to his position shaking his head. Amado Mann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simón Panguilef came out and tried to block the shot, but Amado Mann slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 55th minute. After 61 minutes, Baldomiro Beca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guape AFC and the Tunca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Enmanuel Valdivia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunca's supporters rose to their feet, but Enmanuel Valdivia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Javier Diaz de León breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Guape AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enmanuel Valdivia came free, but Luis Javier Diaz de León reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ireno Aguilar during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Guape AFC's zone, Enmanuel Valdivia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Javier Diaz de León came out of the goal and Enmanuel Valdivia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theobald Major's late challenge caught a Tunca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theobald Major helped the player get up and apologised. Enmanuel Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
