In the 4th minute, Faustino Fabri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luis Javier Diaz de León. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 8th minute, Lorenzo Fouillioux made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Cocio. Hijuelas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Guape AFC's Luis Javier Diaz de León proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Guape AFC from getting a goal against them. If Faustino Fabri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Beca hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Luis Javier Diaz de León made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Anacleto Kovasic sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Fouillioux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Cocio having to interfere. Eustacio Cocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Mann in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Guape AFC's Amado Mann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustacio Cocio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 27th minute, Baldomiro Beca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Faustino Fabri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Javier Diaz de León was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 40th minute of the match Cerilo Peacock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Javier Diaz de León showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lorenzo Fouillioux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guape AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Fouillioux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Cocio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amado Mann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Mann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Amado Mann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guape AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Mann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Javier Diaz de León took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Kovasic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anacleto Kovasic came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Hijuelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Kovasic couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Faustino Fabri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Javier Diaz de León saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lorenzo Fouillioux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Soriano Gronows fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hijuelas's protests and gave Soriano Gronows a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guape AFC booed when Hijuelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soriano Gronows didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Javier Diaz de León showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Fabri, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Faustino Fabri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Javier Diaz de León having to interfere. When Hijuelas's Faustino Fabri in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guape AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guape AFC's zone, Anacleto Kovasic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Javier Diaz de León came out of the goal and Anacleto Kovasic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guape AFC's goalkeeper Luis Javier Diaz de León, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anacleto Kovasic might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Javier Diaz de León. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Kovasic ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Ireno Aguilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Javier Diaz de León made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Kovasic in the 97th minute of play.
