Nereo Portolés was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 9 minutes, Nereo Portolés managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canabina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Portolés was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Docomavida AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Quique Garbiso hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Canabina AFC's Bayron Dighero tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gustavo Aylwin struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Viviano Deuth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canabina AFC. Nereo Portolés received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Viviano Deuth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Luciano Gormaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Docomavida AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustavo Aylwin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Docomavida AFC's Paulo Wilson got a free kick in the 20th minute. Nereo Portolés recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Julio Massardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Arteaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Aylwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viviano Deuth having to interfere. Nereo De la Sotta charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo De la Sotta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Julio Massardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Docomavida AFC's zone, Gustavo Aylwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viviano Deuth came out of the goal and Gustavo Aylwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Portolés in the 60th minute of play forced Docomavida AFC's goalkeeper Viviano Deuth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Aylwin scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viviano Deuth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Canabina AFC's Pierre Arteaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Canabina AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Amadeo Iturriaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Docomavida AFC booed when Canabina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niguel Píriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Docomavida AFC's Paulo Wilson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pierre Arteaga but with some difficulty.
