When Moncho Plata fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Young Money FC's protests and gave Moncho Plata a yellow card for diving instead. Moncho Plata kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Tor Zammit put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fortunato Perelman. In the 20thth minute of the game Tor Zammit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FSX UNITED's Fortunato Perelman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Young Money FC's Xalvador Unda got control of the ball when Valerio Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valerio Hoffmann hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Vasco Fabriy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSX UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Fabriy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Saverio Alamos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xalvador Unda. Young Money FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Alamos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 42nd minute of the match Luis Lambert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xalvador Unda skillfully saved the ball. If Vasco Fabriy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when Young Money FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moncho Plata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Fabriy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Young Money FC's Xabel Parro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fortunato Perelman but with some difficulty. If Vasco Fabriy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ceandro Rojo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FSX UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceandro Rojo couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Young Money FC's Tor Zammit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Perelman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Víctor Javier Rufo's late challenge caught a Young Money FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víctor Javier Rufo helped the player get up and apologised. Víctor Javier Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Young Money FC's Fortunato Perelman threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tor Zammit, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor Zammit got free with Fortunato Perelman in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 87 in the game by Tor Zammit from a close distance when the talented Fortunato Perelman managed to make a qualified save. FSX UNITED's players were relieved. With a little luck, FSX UNITED's Fortunato Perelman got control of the ball when Tor Zammit tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Young Money FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FSX UNITED throughout the match.
