Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Arango started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Boleslaw Wyrzykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roque Engdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuelo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Engdahl in the 22nd minute of play. Manuelo Larrañaga came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportes Karite S.A.'s Juan Arango. But to his dismay, Juan Arango quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Deportes Karite S.A.'s Roque Engdahl got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Mandiola during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Deportes Karite S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Mandiola. After recieving a nice pass, Renaca FC's Américo Varas tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Renaca FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Juan Antonio Pimienta hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Balart made a kick off. Juan Arango struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Manuelo Larrañaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportes Karite S.A.. Juan Arango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Manuelo Larrañaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Juan Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportes Karite S.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Arango was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristóbal Bezanilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Arango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Juan Antonio Pimienta in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportes Karite S.A.'s Scofield Minachev. The crowd rose to their feet as Antônio Carlos de Medeiros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuelo Larrañaga. That made the score 0-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Roque Engdahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
