Benito Burgoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincente Avalos having to make a save. In the 7th minute Benito Burgoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Llaguepe's Marcos Francisco Gaviño dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincente Avalos was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Haroldo Ruedi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Cosme Avilés when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ignacio Fontecilla charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Fontecilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Ignacio Fontecilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llaguepe's Vincente Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Souza in the 27th minute of play. Vincente Avalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Burgoa in the 29th minute of the match. Vincente Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Francisco Gaviño in the 34th minute of play forced Colimavia FC's goalkeeper Cosme Avilés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Marcos Francisco Gaviño recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cosme Avilés. Marcos Francisco Gaviño showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Cosme Avilés made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Francisco Gaviño in the 39th minute of play. Haroldo Ruedi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Avilés having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marcos Francisco Gaviño made the kick off in the second half. Ismael Nazario Payten hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Benito Burgoa took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincente Avalos. Vincente Avalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Llaguepe's Abraham Urtubia got a free kick in the 58th minute. Benito Burgoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vincente Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colimavia FC's Cosme Avilés played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Ruedi in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Nicasio Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicasio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Colimavia FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Xosé Rivas hit a great ball. Benito Burgoa got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-3 in the right cross in the 88th match minute before Vincente Avalos had time to react. 92 minutes into the match, Colimavia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Francisco Gaviño came free, but Cosme Avilés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 94 in the game by Benito Burgoa from a close distance when the talented Vincente Avalos managed to make a qualified save. Llaguepe's players were relieved. Nicasio Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Pierre Solar had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricard Marholz during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 98 played minutes Llaguepe got a freekick which was hit by Ricard Marholz. The Colimavia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colimavia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
