If Nicasio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Avilés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Morgado in the 32nd minute of the match. Lautaro Morgado in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cosme Avilés, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Balendín Castañeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Burgoa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Luis Alberto Tupper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colimavia FC. Nicolas León blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosme Avilés having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ancara AFC fully deserved thier win.
