In the 21st match minute, Abanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodovico Osorio to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Velasco Bay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidelio Pfingsthorn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fidelio Pfingsthorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Brzovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Abanico's Israel Talavera in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quilpoco's goalie prevented a goal. Calvino Fontecilla's late challenge caught a Abanico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calvino Fontecilla helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Quilpoco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abanico:s goal. Elear Aracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Iribarren in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Talavera in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elear Aracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernán Galarce struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fidelio Pfingsthorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilpoco. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Israel Talavera made the kick off in the second half. Elear Aracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magdaleno Liendo in the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Iribarren got free with Elear Aracena in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Eduardo Lepe's late challenge caught a Abanico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
