When Demesio Hidalgo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabecera's protests and gave Demesio Hidalgo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caigua AFC booed when Cabecera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demesio Hidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 26 in the game by Delmiro Mackenzie from a close distance when the talented Rafa Bünzli managed to make a qualified save. Caigua AFC's players were relieved. The Caigua AFC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Caigua AFC's Flavio Turri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 33 minutes, Duardo Paternost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caigua AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duardo Paternost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duardo Paternost in the 36th minute of play forced Cabecera's goalkeeper Serafín Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Mackenzie kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Caigua AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odol Marchant to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Nacho Orostegui put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rafa Bünzli. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caigua AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
