Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mario Jesus Maas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Romelio Potts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Urresti in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Gervasio Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romelio Potts was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guillermo Viego. The supporters of Sawaba FC booed when cartagonova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavi Apaulaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Mario Jesus Maas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romelio Potts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Sandro Urresti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romelio Potts. The goal made the score 1-0. Romelio Potts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jesus Maas in the 19th minute of the match. Romelio Potts made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Esteban Dechent sent off a good shot on target. With 25 minutes on the clock, Benedicto Tobar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of cartagonova:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sawaba FC:s goal. After some careless play in the cartagonova defense, Sandro Urresti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romelio Potts. The cartagonova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romelio Potts should have stopped the shot. Romelio Potts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jesus Maas in the 34th minute of play. Romelio Potts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jesus Maas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Juan Luis Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Sandro Urresti could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Romelio Potts however easily saved by the left post. In the 41st minute Mario Jesus Maas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romelio Potts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sawaba FC's Dobromir Modliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Maschke in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Orlando Maschke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobromir Modliszewski was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sawaba FC's zone, Orlando Maschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dobromir Modliszewski came out of the goal and Orlando Maschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Maschke to make the kick off. Romelio Potts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Dechent, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sawaba FC's Dobromir Modliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Maschke in the 59th minute of play. Orlando Maschke scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dobromir Modliszewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the game, Sandro Urresti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Romelio Potts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Maschke in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Modliszewski saved Sawaba FC from getting behind. Sawaba FC's Dobromir Modliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Maschke in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Urresti in the 80th minute of play forced cartagonova's goalkeeper Romelio Potts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Maschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Mario Jesus Maas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Romelio Potts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, cartagonova's Xavi Apaulaza got a free kick in the 88th minute. Romelio Potts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Urresti's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Mario Jesus Maas took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romelio Potts. Romelio Potts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sawaba FC had won after a very even match.
