Soncor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sansón Coromina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Raymond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Tomás Figueroa got free with Gilberto Raymond in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Estebano Novoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Raymond. Guallatire AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Estebano Novoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sebastiano Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ernesto Daniel Heyboer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estebano Novoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Raymond having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soncor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Guallatire AFC. Narcís Ibieta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernesto Daniel Heyboer. 1-2. Bairon Pumaraboli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ernesto Daniel Heyboer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soncor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
