FC Invictus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureo Soloaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Naviedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Seriche in the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, Almendral AFC's Samuel Mistral got control of the ball when Emilio Bautista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aureo Soloaga struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Samuel Mistral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Invictus. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Invictus! Camilo Señoret walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 30th minute Félix Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Naviedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Naviedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cerilo Aedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Peio Fiamenghi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, FC Invictus's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Pena came free, but Lino Naviedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of FC Invictus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Almendral AFC:s goal. FC Invictus:s Lino Naviedes showed great skill when he stopped Camilo Señoret:s penalty. After 45 minutes FC Invictus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Camilo Señoret who took care of the corner kick. Camilo Señoret made a great header on Almendral AFC's corner, it was just that FC Invictus's Lino Naviedes managed to reach the ball for a save. FC Invictus's Lino Naviedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félix Pena in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureo Soloaga made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Peio Fiamenghi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Mistral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cerilo Aedo succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. FC Invictus's Lino Naviedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cerilo Aedo in the 70th minute of play. Lino Naviedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cerilo Aedo in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Félix Pena got free with Lino Naviedes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Invictus getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Emilio Bautista hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Aureo Soloaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Invictus's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureo Soloaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Mistral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Naviedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cerilo Aedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Félix Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Invictus's Emilio Bautista suffered a fractured collar bone after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Almendral AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Félix Pena hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Almendral AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
