When Pau Llana fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colicheo's protests and gave Pau Llana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Guacollo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Leese to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Bunster in the 9th minute of play forced Guacollo AFC's goalkeeper José Julio Garrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tito Bunster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Tito Bunster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Julio Garrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iván Luis Pimienta charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iván Luis Pimienta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iván Luis Pimienta kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Loreto Bauza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jeronimo Lermanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colicheo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 46th minute Loreto Bauza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Lermanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niguel Sierralta to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Guacollo AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colicheo:s goal. A collision led to Colicheo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Aureliano Manquilef hit a great ball. Niguel Sierralta scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Julio Garrido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niguel Sierralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
