The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remi Otava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrián Valdés having to interfere. Alonso Antoine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufino Farren, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Llequiman FC's Adrián Valdés played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remi Otava in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Rufino Farren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Antoine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Llequiman FC's zone, Aureo Panussi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrián Valdés came out of the goal and Aureo Panussi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureo Panussi in the 20th minute of play forced Llequiman FC's goalkeeper Adrián Valdés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remi Otava struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Adrián Valdés didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cululir AFC. Alonso Antoine made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Theobald Matta sent off a good shot on target. Adrián Valdés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remi Otava in the 32nd minute of the match. Remi Otava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrián Valdés having to interfere. Aureo Panussi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrián Valdés tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Remi Otava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrián Valdés saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rufino Farren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darío Calzada kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Ravest got free with Alonso Antoine in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alonso Antoine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Sotta's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureo Panussi couldn't finish the play. Celedonio Raab kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rufino Farren in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alonso Antoine saved Cululir AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Cululir AFC booed when Llequiman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Nieto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llequiman FC's goalkeeper Adrián Valdés, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Cululir AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Llequiman FC.
