Wilfredo Anders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andolín Munita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Caraguano's goalkeeper Andolín Munita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Anders. Andolín Munita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainerio Brotfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Caraguano's Eduardo Mac Lean got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Chancacollo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Camara came free, but Gaston Oyaneder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Camara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Oyaneder having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chancacollo AFC's zone, Teodovico Albano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Oyaneder came out of the goal and Teodovico Albano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Pere Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caraguano's Teodovico Albano got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodovico Albano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodovico Albano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gaston Oyaneder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Oyaneder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodovico Albano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Tobías Caussade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodovico Albano in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Oyaneder saved Chancacollo AFC from getting behind. Teodovico Albano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilfredo Anders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andolín Munita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruesga Recasens in the 44th minute of the match. When Caraguano's Clemente Camara in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chancacollo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Andolín Munita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainerio Brotfeld in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Rainerio Brotfeld made a precise shot to the right of Andolín Munita. Caraguano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Saturnín Almeida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andolín Munita. Caraguano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eduardo Mac Lean struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Gaston Oyaneder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraguano. Ruesga Recasens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Andolín Munita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Jeraldo Acevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andolín Munita. Caraguano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeraldo Acevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ruesga Recasens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andolín Munita having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnín Almeida during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chancacollo AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Saturnín Almeida hit a great ball. Ramiro Keuter kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Caraguano defense, Rainerio Brotfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andolín Munita. The Caraguano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andolín Munita should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chancacollo AFC had won after a very even match.
