Tobías Beauchef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Sutil having to interfere. Albino Sutil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Letelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Letelier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Albino Sutil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hernán Ureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Ureta in the 19th minute of play forced Piscicultura's goalkeeper Fabián Trucios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Letelier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Albino Sutil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Rogerio Artaza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tolten FC and the Piscicultura players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Tolten FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogerio Artaza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Letelier in the 23rd minute of play forced Tolten FC's goalkeeper Albino Sutil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Piscicultura booed when Tolten FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Ogalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Huidobro during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conrado Huidobro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes in the game, Tobías Beauchef dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernán Ureta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tolten FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Wilfredo Letelier scored to the left of an out of position Albino Sutil, making the score, 0-1. If Hernán Ureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hernán Ureta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabián Trucios was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Pablo Bettini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabián Trucios was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Bettini in the 70th minute of play forced Piscicultura's goalkeeper Fabián Trucios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tobías Beauchef came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Piscicultura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobías Beauchef couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Letelier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Letelier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Sutil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Letelier in the 88th minute of play. Albino Sutil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Letelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Hernán Ureta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
