Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Antonio Campo ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the game, Domenico Pastene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardamo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcahuano the free kick. A collision led to Cardamo AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Domenico Pastene hit a great ball. Nicolas Echeverría blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xacobo Elgueta having to make a save. Xacobo Elgueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Antonio Campo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nicolas Echeverría sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Mannuel Raheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cardamo AFC's Milián Maristany in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talcahuano's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Talcahuano's goalkeeper Vicent Bascur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mannuel Raheiro. Milián Maristany fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicent Bascur having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Yeray Torrealba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talcahuano and the Cardamo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Talcahuano got a freekick which was hit by Yeray Torrealba. Vicent Bascur made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Mannuel Raheiro sent off a good shot on target. If Mannuel Raheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Talcahuano got a freekick which was hit by Bairon Cumsille. 46 minutes into the game, Milián Maristany recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicent Bascur. Milián Maristany showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

51 minutes into the match, Nicolas Echeverría notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cardamo AFC's Xacobo Elgueta. Xacobo Elgueta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolas Echeverría sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Nicolas Echeverría got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Mannuel Raheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicent Bascur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Cardamo AFC's Xacobo Elgueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Echeverría in the 79th minute of play. Milián Maristany sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd match minute, Talcahuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurín Camposano to maneuver through the defense. Cardamo AFC's Xacobo Elgueta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Cardamo AFC from getting a goal against them. Nicolas Echeverría received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Xacobo Elgueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Talcahuano's Armando Arlegui got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Milián Maristany sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
