Leonardo Aramburu's late challenge caught a Quillaguasa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Aramburu helped the player get up and apologised. Aitor Dighero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlos Masson in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Karlos Masson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quillaguasa AFC's Aitor Dighero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Quillaguasa AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quilicura AFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosme Acharan made a kick off. Karlos Masson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quillaguasa AFC's Aitor Dighero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Aramburu in the 56th minute of play. If Cosme Acharan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlos Masson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aitor Dighero made a huge save. Aitor Dighero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karlos Masson in the 65th minute. Aitor Dighero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Acharan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Karlos Masson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 87 minutes into the match, Quillaguasa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Acharan came free, but Aitor Dighero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aitor Dighero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3.
