Matteo Didier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmacio Chavez went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Challe FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Alberto Manríquez came free, but Wilfredo Guevara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Wilfredo Guevara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Toledo in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilfredo Guevara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Matteo Didier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Francisco Brito in the 39th minute of the match. A hard shot 41 in the game by Modesto Toledo from a close distance when the talented Wilfredo Guevara managed to make a qualified save. Challe FC's players were relieved. If Cerilo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Modesto Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedegua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Dalmacio Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Francisco Brito made a kick off. José Alberto Arenas's late challenge caught a Challe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Alberto Arenas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Challe FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cerilo Cruz hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Challe FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Alberto Manríquez came free, but Wilfredo Guevara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Guevara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Toledo in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Toledo in the 69th minute of play forced Challe FC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Guevara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Challe FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
