The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damario Llanos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Matthias Möller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Estevan Raglianti in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Ossa booed when Quilimanzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Perl didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Ossa's Matthias Möller threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricard Diaz de León, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Orlondón Redondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulín Daughters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlondón Redondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Javier Mayol's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Francisco Javier Mayol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ossa's Orlondón Redondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Tancredo Basualdo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ossa's Orlondón Redondo. Orlondón Redondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlondón Redondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tancredo Basualdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Ossa defense, Paulín Daughters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlondón Redondo. The Ossa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlondón Redondo should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Paulín Daughters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Orlondón Redondo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tancredo Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nazario Willis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ossa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazario Willis couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Guillermo Lizana Lezana made a precise shot to the right of Orlondón Redondo. Ossa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Francisco Javier Mayol might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlondón Redondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Javier Mayol ran back to his position shaking his head. Matthias Möller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazario Willis in the 46th minute. After the first half Quilimanzano were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Estevan Raglianti made a kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Damario Llanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ossa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilimanzano the free kick. In the 65th minute, Damario Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tancredo Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlondón Redondo having to interfere. Justino Olano hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Orlondón Redondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sansón Balut went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Sansón Balut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlondón Redondo having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match, Paulín Daughters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlondón Redondo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Francisco Javier Mayol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilimanzano's Matthias Möller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazario Willis in the 95th minute of play. Quilimanzano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
