Teodor Lois's late challenge caught a Quitrico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Lois helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Chelin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Lois to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Chelin's protests and gave Poulus Moran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Quitrico FC booed when Chelin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poulus Moran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastiano Legrand was a little too slow when Celestino Tagle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-1. Celestino Tagle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Quitrico FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sebastiano Legrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Bulboa in the 65th minute of the match. If Mario Alberto Catalán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Anriquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lolo Alcayaga having to interfere. Chelin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quitrico FC the free kick. Celestino Tagle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastiano Legrand having to make a save. If Mario Alberto Catalán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poulus Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lolo Alcayaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
