In the 7thth minute of the game David Maillard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quitrico FC's Lolo Alcayaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yoel Adriazola hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Timeteo Giron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Erazo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Maillard in the 19th minute of play forced Quitrico FC's goalkeeper Lolo Alcayaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mapuches F.C.'s Amancio Erazo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Lolo Alcayaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Maillard's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Sisebuto Edwards elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Quitrico FC's Lolo Alcayaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo La Motte in the 37th minute of play. David Maillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lolo Alcayaga having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Maillard in the 41st minute of play forced Quitrico FC's goalkeeper Lolo Alcayaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Mapuches F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sisebuto Edwards fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Tagle in the 45th minute of play forced Mapuches F.C.'s goalkeeper Mateo Avilés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Jacobo Matte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mapuches F.C.'s Mateo Avilés did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Tagle to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Sisebuto Edwards got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lolo Alcayaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Maillard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo La Motte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lolo Alcayaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Celestino Tagle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Avilés was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Quitrico FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
