In the 8th match minute, Coihaique FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Antunovic to maneuver through the defense. Eufemio Magnasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermenegildo Gazitúa's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The supporters of Salamanca booed when Coihaique FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pol Pantoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Hermenegildo Gazitúa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eufemio Magnasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermenegildo Gazitúa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eufemio Magnasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tancredo Ibáñez scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eufemio Magnasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Didier in the 27th minute of play forced Coihaique FC's goalkeeper Eufemio Magnasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Coihaique FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constancio Recciuc to maneuver through the defense. Hermenegildo Gazitúa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufemio Magnasco having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermenegildo Gazitúa to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Salamanca got a freekick which was hit by Arnau Vildosola. Coihaique FC's Benjamín Pincheira managed to work through Salamanca's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Benjamín Pincheira dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 59 minutes, Constancio Recciuc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coihaique FC and the Salamanca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Constancio Recciuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamín Pincheira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute.
