He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Remicio Mahns. 32 minutes into the match, Moraleda's goalkeeper Remicio Mahns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodovico Huidobro. In the 33rd minute, Loncoche FC's Luis Angel Falcón dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Lander Puerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Larreta having to interfere. Reynaldo Larreta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristeo Ducoing's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Lander Puerta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Reynaldo Larreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Loncoche FC's zone, Luis Lorca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Larreta came out of the goal and Luis Lorca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Loncoche FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lander Puerta came free, but Reynaldo Larreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Angel Falcón to make the kick off. Lander Puerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristeo Ducoing did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Reynaldo Larreta 57 minutes into the match. Loncoche FC's Teodovico Huidobro got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luis Lorca fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moraleda's protests and gave Luis Lorca a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Moraleda got a freekick which was hit by Luis Lorca. In the 65th match minute, Moraleda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristeo Ducoing to maneuver through the defense. Lander Puerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
