Quetalco's Moncho Mosca got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 11 minutes on the clock, 苏俊凡 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 11th match minute, C.D. Unión Arabe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 苏俊凡 to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Quetalco's Alejandro Macchiavello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ralf Tilling came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quetalco reached it. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Eladio Talamilla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Quetalco's Christian Saa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Gafo in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Quetalco's Eladio Talamilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf Tilling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Israel Gafo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Saa saved Quetalco from getting behind. After 35 minutes, Israel Gafo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Quetalco's Christian Saa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Israel Gafo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Quetalco's Christian Saa. Christian Saa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ralf Tilling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moncho Mosca, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Israel Gafo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, C.D. Unión Arabe's Israel Gafo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Saa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After having played for 63 minutes, Israel Gafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D. Unión Arabe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Gafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralf Tilling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikel Parot in the 65th minute of play. Israel Gafo in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Saa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Israel Gafo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Saa. Christian Saa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 74th minute, Eladio Talamilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Israel Gafo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Saa. Christian Saa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When Jose Ramon De la Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C.D. Unión Arabe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Ramon De la Quintana couldn't finish the play. Israel Gafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Moncho Mosca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quetalco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Ralf Tilling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moncho Mosca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The C.D. Unión Arabe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.D. Unión Arabe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
