Godofredo Vos de Vos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Yoel Igualt made a huge save. Taurino Chopitea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Puyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoel Igualt having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Omar Puyo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yoel Igualt. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Taurino Chopitea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Albornoz having to interfere. Godofredo Vos de Vos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Yoel Igualt made a huge save. Omar Puyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Yoel Igualt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Anders in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrico Albornoz saved Ajata FC from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Ajata FC's Omar Puyo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yoel Igualt. Yoel Igualt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Godofredo Vos de Vos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Yoel Igualt made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Puyo made a kick off. If Omar Puyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Ajata FC's Héctor David Losada seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Héctor David Losada the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ajata FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Héctor David Losada had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 69 minutes into the game, one of Ajata FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Quillaicillo AFC's Romeo Beauchef got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Enrico Albornoz. In the 76th match minute, Ajata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elodio Gazitúa to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Romeo Beauchef from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Enrico Albornoz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Enrico Albornoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taurino Chopitea in the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Quillaicillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Alberto Charlin to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ajata FC's goalkeeper Enrico Albornoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taurino Chopitea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Enrico Albornoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Anders got free with Enrico Albornoz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
