With a little luck, Folilco's Magdaleno Zavala got control of the ball when Haroldo Larrea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Eduardo Bolivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magdaleno Zavala having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Folilco's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Larrea came free, but Magdaleno Zavala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magdaleno Zavala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Larrea's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Luis Eduardo Bolivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Magdaleno Zavala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 50th minute of the match Folilco got a corner. Llequiman FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidelio Deramond ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Folilco's corner Fidelio Deramond fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manu Olano quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrés Casanova was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Luis Eduardo Bolivar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magdaleno Zavala. Folilco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Eduardo Bolivar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Folilco's Magdaleno Zavala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Larrea in the 59th minute of play. Luis Eduardo Bolivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magdaleno Zavala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Larrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Eduardo Bolivar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magdaleno Zavala having to make a save. Manu Olano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Magdaleno Zavala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Eduardo Bolivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Magdaleno Zavala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Eduardo Bolivar in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Larrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magdaleno Zavala was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Adam Villalta kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Eliazar Villarino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magdaleno Zavala. Folilco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Magdaleno Zavala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Eduardo Bolivar in the 81st minute of the match. If Luis Eduardo Bolivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folilco's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrés Casanova was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manu Olano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
