Calixto Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Villagra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calixto Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Lázaro Norambuena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Firmín Estévez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingo Villagra. Chanabaya AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juan María Walker hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Domingo Villagra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Juan María Walker fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chanabaya AFC's protests and gave Juan María Walker a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Ralph's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Villagra was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The supporters of Chanabaya AFC booed when Caraguano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerónimo Achurra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Gaspar Ralph rounded Chanabaya AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Calixto Galindo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Domingo Villagra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraguano. Caraguano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
