In the 4th minute of the match Yeray Villalba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saturnino De la Fuente skillfully saved the ball. Marcos Urquiza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartolomé Abascal charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolomé Abascal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Pupio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomé Abascal to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Unai Riquelme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liberto Noriega was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Saturnino De la Fuente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Urquiza in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Imperio Novenin's goal looked a bit too open when Tito Vaccia came free, but Liberto Noriega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Pupio's Manu Moñiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liberto Noriega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Imperio Novenin's Baldomiro Uriarte got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Imperio Novenin defense, Tito Vaccia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liberto Noriega. The Imperio Novenin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liberto Noriega should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Imperio Novenin's goal looked a bit too open when Manu Moñiz came free, but Liberto Noriega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino De la Fuente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Urquiza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Tinguaro Ocon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Saturnino De la Fuente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Imperio Novenin booed when Pupio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unai Riquelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino De la Fuente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Urquiza in the 49th minute of play.

Manu Moñiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Liberto Noriega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Vaccia in the 63rd minute of play forced Imperio Novenin's goalkeeper Liberto Noriega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Marcos Urquiza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Novenin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Urquiza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Tinguaro Ocon notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pupio's Saturnino De la Fuente. Saturnino De la Fuente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marcos Urquiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manu Moñiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vicens Menichetti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saturnino De la Fuente. Pupio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcos Urquiza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino De la Fuente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Clemencín Domínguez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcos Urquiza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Novenin's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Urquiza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino De la Fuente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Pupio got a freekick which was hit by Unai Riquelme. If Tito Vaccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
