But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abner Orostegui couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, Sauzal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Alberto Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Eladio Luksic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliazar Moñiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abner Orostegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Huelquen FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilesindo De Ferari. It was beautiful to see Sauzal AFC's Jonatán Ascue in action when he in the 45th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Huelquen FC's goalkeeper Elizalde Calabrano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Huelquen FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hipolito Rojo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Longa in the 53rd minute of play forced Huelquen FC's goalkeeper Elizalde Calabrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliazar Moñiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 played minutes Huelquen FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlín Lanz. Sauzal AFC's Jonatán Ascue shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elizalde Calabrano but with some difficulty. Eladio Luksic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abner Orostegui in the 97th minute of play forced Sauzal AFC's goalkeeper Eliazar Moñiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sauzal AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Huelquen FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
