Luciano Herzl struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Isaac Parada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportes Temuco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelipe Abella in the 8th minute of play forced Club Deportes Temuco's goalkeeper Próspero Ruedi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Pena during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Club Deportes Temuco got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Pena. After 12 played minutes Club Deportes Temuco got a freekick which was hit by Caupolicán Quiero. After having played for 18 minutes, Zelipe Abella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rascanosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zelipe Abella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Club Deportes Temuco got a freekick which was hit by Alarico Arjona. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Temuco's Aldo Pena got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes, Rascanosos's Ricard Stuven shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Próspero Ruedi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rascanosos reached it. Nafarroa Aldea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Próspero Ruedi having to interfere. Próspero Ruedi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurín Maeztu's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Próspero Ruedi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Alejandro Villegas in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alarico Arjona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportes Temuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Alarico Arjona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Parada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Próspero Ruedi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Alejandro Villegas in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Alejandro Villegas in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Deportes Temuco's goalkeeper Próspero Ruedi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rascanosos's goalkeeper Isaac Parada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Alejandro Villegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alarico Arjona hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Club Deportes Temuco's Próspero Ruedi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Alejandro Villegas in the 56th minute of play. Luciano Herzl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Isaac Parada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alarico Arjona kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Zelipe Abella got a very nice opportunity to score, but Próspero Ruedi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 74th match minute, Club Deportes Temuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alarico Arjona to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Ricard Stuven led 75 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Club Deportes Temuco's Próspero Ruedi became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. 79 minutes into the game, Laurín Maeztu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rascanosos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportes Temuco the free kick. A collision led to Rascanosos getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. The Club Deportes Temuco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rascanosos's performance. The match ended with a win for Rascanosos.
